In 1998, United Lab donated RMB 2 million and set up the "Young Scientist Fund of Guangdong Province and the "Grant for Impoverished College Students of Guangdong Province" to support and encourage scientists with outstanding contribution and college students with special hardship and high academic and moral performance.
